This page exists primarily to discuss Orthodox Christianity. After having been a Protestant for most of my life, I discovered and began investigating Orthodoxy in the summer of 2001. The more I dug into history, the more apparent it became that the ancient Church has never left - that her worship, doctrines, and practices have been faithfully preserved in the 2000 year old Orthodox Church. I was baptized and chrismated into the embrace of Christ's Holy Church, taking the chalice name of Katherine, on Saturday, January 4, 2003.
The following links are ones that I found useful as I really began to delve into Orthodoxy. I pray that they may be as helpful to you as they were to me.

I'd been putting together my own list of Orthodox quotes here, but that was before I found THIS wonderful page - I've been having an absolute field day with all the good stuff here! :-)
The poetry page had been zapped, along with the "Deep Thoughts" page (also known as the "Everyone is entitled to my opinion" page), but they are now both back, in a combined and modified format. Please, try to contain your excitement. Under construction.
